Dean Davies is a fashion image-maker from Wirral, North West England.
In a practice seeking to reposition fashion’s exclusivity, non-models and communities feature as active participants in Davies’ image-making, which encompasses; creative direction, photography, film-making, casting and styling. His upbringing has had a notable influence upon his work, through which he communicates distinctly Northern narratives and perspectives.
Davies is a consultant, director of publishing platform, TRIP, and a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Communication at UWE, Bristol.
